Teams come all year round from different churches of the world over and they come with the main aim of showing love and care to children and the community at large.

Teams have the opportunity to experience what it is like to be on at Return Childrens Home and Uganda ar firsthand as they operate there on a daily basis and also get a chance to dine with and interact with the children and parents.

Teams also have the opportunity to experience Uganda and also get to tour Uganda, see Uganda's wild life on game drives in some of Africa's best national parks and go white water rafting on the famous River Nile among other attractions. Teams typically come for an average of 2 weeks in which time they will have an opportunity to see and experience Uganda.

Teams have three variations:

RMI also welcomes individuals who are keen on coming by themselves for at least one month and up to six months.

Individual volunteers are required to fulfill the requirements of an admission process which includes an application form outlining interest, experience, skills and training. Approved volunteers come and work directly with different departments including Education and Projects.
